Fundraising is the lifeblood of any community organization.  It brings peoples ideas to enhance their community to life.  But in post Celtic Tiger Ireland it is increasingly difficult for organizations to raise the much needed funds to get these projects off the ground.

The VECP was awarded Charitable Status by the Revenue Commissioners in 2010. This means that we can apply to State and Semi-state bodies to fund all manner of projects for our community.  However, no project will be funded 100%.  There will always be a shortfall that has to be made up by us, the community.  This insures our commitment to deliver our ideas, while making sure we select the correct projects to run with.
